At Noemi’s Nest, I provide warm, caring and mindful home-to-home childcare for children from 6 months onwards.
With a small group of just 2–4 children, your child receives calm, responsive care in a secure and nurturing family environment. I follow a steady daily rhythm that follows feeding, sleeping, play, and emotional needs because at this age, feeling safe is everything. In our small group, I take time to truly know each child — their personality, interests, and needs. This allows me to support them in a way that feels natural and reassuring. My hope is that every child leaves Noemi’s Nest feeling confident, understood, and ready for their next adventure.

I have over 10 years’ experience in childcare, caring for children of all ages in early years settings. I understand how important these early years are for attachment, development, and emotional wellbeing.As a mother myself, I bring both professional knowledge and lived experience to my work each day. I follow a gentle, respectful approach, supporting each child according to their individual needs, developmental stage, and family preferences.Care at Noemi’s Nest is guided by:- Secure attachment and responsive caregiving- Clear routines- Sensory and play-based activities- Ongoing communication with parents
About the Home & Facilities
Noemi’s Nest operates from a safe, family home in Shannon, prepared with babies and toddlers in mind
Facilities include:- A dedicated, child-friendly play space- Age-appropriate toys and sensory materials- Safe sleep arrangements in line with national safe sleep guidance- Hygienic nappy changing facilities- A secure, enclosed garden for outdoor play- Childproofed indoor areas- Regular cleaning and hygiene proceduresI follow good practice in line with Tusla guidance, including safeguarding, health & safety procedures, and respectful care routines.Parents are kept informed daily about feeding, naps, play, and general wellbeing.

Interns
Noemi’s Nest is also home to two friendly companions,
Sandy and Ivy.Both are used to children and are part of daily family life. Of course, all interactions are fully supervised, and little ones are taught kindness and respect towards animals. For many children, this becomes a lovely early introduction to caring for pets.
